Become a Mortgage Net Branch

Challenge: Join a nationwide mortgage net-branching operation with a strong support system in place which allows you to aggressively expand your mortgage operations to multiple states, offers access to hundreds of lending programs with most major US investors, and gives you full license to create opportunities in the lending areas you are already most familiar with.

Objective: We are seeking self motivated candidates with strong analytical and communication skills that can effectively build a cohesive loan closing unit and provide direct support to subordinates in reaching their production goals within the context of a nationwide network of mortgage offices.

Requirement Qualifications: Individuals must possess a minimum of three years direct processing and originating experience. Experience in Alternative-A loan programs and sub-prime areas of lending. Direct exposure to FNMA and/or FHLMC automated underwriting modules (DU, LP). Mortgage office management experience a major plus.

Individual strengths should include: An in depth understanding of loan processing; risk analysis as it applies to the underwriting of loan products; an efficient ability to define the limits of program eligibility and problem solve to provide clients with alternative program solutions; a keen eye involving detection of fraud, quality control and appraisal review; the ability to effectively build a team oriented towards the consistent closing and funding of sufficient loans to meet monthly sales goals. Applicants should possess a strong knowledge of current sub-prime guidelines as well as a working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, and government guidelines.

Individuals should be highly motivated towards developing a greater income from their daily efforts, be well organized, and demonstrate the ability to work well with others as part of a team. The willingness to train subordinates and the ability to delegate tasks to obtain results is important. Individuals should have a critical focus on customer service and an understanding of what is required to create annuities of business on the sales side of the equation.

Computer skills: Individuals should possess average computer literacy skills. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, most LOS programs such as Calyx, and various internet support options are important. Familiarity with supporting programs such as Documents Systems and various internet exchange mediums is a plus.
